Samantha Ryan is the owner and director of senconsultant.ie. We offer a range of online and in-school workshops suitable for primary school staff (leaders, teachers & SNAs) in the area of special education and have over 12 years experience in delivering CPD. Samantha has been a primary school teacher for 17 years. In these years of teaching she has held the positions of Deputy Principal and Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator. Samantha has also held the teaching roles of ASD Special Class Teacher, SET and Mainstream Teacher.
Samantha and other senconsultant.ie guest speakers have several years experience in supporting and delivering training to hundreds of primary schools and thousands of teachers and school leaders through CPD roles within the SESS, NCSE, PDST and Education Centers. Before starting the services of senconsultant.ie Samantha had previously worked as an Advisor and Associate with the Special Education Support Service and the NCSE. During this time she delivered training and support to schools along with creating course content and resources for the service. In addition to her work with senconsultant.ie , Samantha works with Hibernia College as a School Placement Tutor, mentoring student teachers and grading teaching practice placements.
Senconsultant is an online and private bespoke support service to primary school staff delivering support in a variety of SEN related areas through online webinars and bespoke school consultations. Over 4,000 teachers, leaders and SNAs have completed our online workshops and bespoke in-school training since senconsultant.ie was established in 2021.
